Daniela Salvioni
Daniela Salvioni is an artist and critic currently residing in Rome. In 2006 she founded International Art Fair Arte Contemporanea Moderna Roma and was its director until 2008, and has acted as curator of art at such art spaces as P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, San Francsico Museum of Modern Art, Venice Biennale, and Kunsthalle Basel. She contributes to several publications including Art Forum and has co-authored and edited several books, both in English and Italian, including Jeff Koons, Art, women, California 1950-2000: parallels and intersections Special Affects: The Photographic Experience in Contemporary Art ; and Art/Women/California 1950-2000. She received her Masters of Philosophy from Columbia University, and her BA from Wesleyan University.
