Li Daiguo, Che Chen and David Watson
In anticipation of a concert by Chinese pipa/cello experimentalist Li Daiguo and the duo of Che Chen and David Watson at Bridget Donahue on November 17, 2016, Blank Forms' Lawrence Kumpf is joined by Watson for a survey of music surrounding the performers' work. They play selections from Chen's collaboration with Chie Mukai, Watson's record with Alastair Galbraith and Jean Jacques Palix, live recordings of the Watson/Chen duo itself and a selection of pieces by Li Daiguo.
