The Brazilian Sounds of Lisbon

After a noteworthy show focusing on Brazilian music produced in Japan (Non-Stop to Tokyo 2), Sonoridade host Béco Dranoff takes us on an insider journey to Portugal's long-standing love affair with Brazilian melody, rhythm and poetry in The Brazilian Sounds of Lisbon. This eclectic show features classic and current Portuguese artists from Fado-diva Amália Rodriques to indie sensation Real Combo Lisbonense, proving that Brazilians sounds and culture are reclaiming their space in Portuguese Pop. The program also includes tracks from Caminho with Milton Nascimento, Jazzinho with Ed Motta, Teresa Salgueiro, Os Quais, Beautify Junkyards, Vinicius de Moraes and more.
