Stuart Baker of London’s mighty Soul Jazz Records returns to the Radyo Shak for a second DJ stint on the Grand Rue of Port-au-Prince, playing an eclectic set culled primarily, but not entirely, from the history of the label, which is not coincidently a gaze into Baker’s musical brain, his loves, his likes, his interests. The set includes California hardcore, Chicago house both classic and just-released, Studio One boom shots, original commissioned vodou recordings, and more.
