2013 is almost over, and to close the year host and producer Béco Dranoff selected some of his favorite tracks from the recent output in Brazil. The new scene is alive, kicking and sprouting all over the country and is represented in Musica Moderna 13 by names to follow such as: Bixiga 70, Anelis Assumpção, Rodrigo del Arc, Chico Corrêa, DJ Tudo, Urucum na Cara, Toco, Cris Delanno, acapella group BR6, plus two modern gems by European stars Guida de Palma and Omar. New York-based Brazilian music producer and A&R Béco Dranoff hosts this monthly, hour-long radio program dedicated to modern and classic Brazilian music. Each episode focuses on a theme or genre to bring listeners a fast-moving and inclusive panorama of the best in the rich plethora of Brazilian musical styles.
