Anonymous DJ Set
A collector friend of the Radyo Shak hosts, who wishes to remain anonymous, provided this curated set of Haitian grooves, taken directly from the original vinyl, “somewhere in the deep north woods.” This set showcases the Latin tinge in pre-konpa dance band orchestras, and also includes what might be called crossover tunes, records made by Haitians, with Haitian musicians, but clearly giving a tip-of-the-hat to the salsa scene.
