But here we are, April fooling on #trashDAY with k(Rob) and Doe Derek. You Play Too Much is snow in spring, dentists with bad breath, New York City Metro on the weekends, rents in Bed-Stuy, and Kanye asking for investment money via Twitter. In a special Mother's Day edition, visual artists Kenya (Robinson) and Doreen Garner bring their show #trashDay to the Clocktower Studio. They create a holistic sonic artwork by waxing poetic on the ratchetry of the innawebs, talking shit about trash, and sharing music and clips. This episode features Shanaz Dorsett's music, from her EP, Mother Tongue. #trashDAY elevates the vernacular of urban fiction, reality television, gossip publications, social dance, and fashion, and uses it as a point of departure for satire and social commentary.

It is the call of wild, with the return of #trashDAY with k(Rob) and Doe Derek, as they pop-up on thine ass, in a livestream recorded on Friday July 8th at Clocktower Productions. And, since the summertime hustle is the weakest link on the food chain, your venerable hosts suggest an afternoon turn up, complete with a #trashDAY cocktail (Jungle Juices and Berries), Ratchetpiece Theatre and our special guests from the New York Arts Practicum.
