Ziyi Zhang, Memoirs of a Geisha

The amazing Ziyi Zhang is following up her roles in director Zhang Yimou's Hero and House of Flying Daggers with her Hollywood debut in Stephen Spielberg's Memoirs of a Geisha, which was soon to begin filming at the time of this recording. Discovered as a teenager by Zhang Yimou (Raise the Red Lantern, Ju Dou), the former dance student starred in his 1999 The Road Home (released in the U.S. in 2001) and followed it with Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
