Woody Harrelson, Zombieland and The Messenger
Woody Harrelson is back in action with two high-profile fall films.
Zombieland, a raucous horror comedy, has Harrelson as the toughest,
bravest exterminator of the undead imaginable in
a US that’s become a zombie wasteland. In a far more serious vein, Harrelson plays an army casualty notification officer in The Messenger. His bluff bravado hides
a man coming undone at the daily grief he sees when next of kin are
told a loved one has died in Iraq. We caught up with Harrelson at New
York’s Waldorf Towers where, between bites of a veggie burger and hugs
from Zombieland costar Emma Stone, he discussed his resurgent career (13 minutes).
