Venice 2011: Vittorio Muolo, Masseria Art Project

Host Zefrey Throwell speaks with Vittorio Muolo of the Masseria Art Project during ARTonAIR's Secret Courtyard program at the 2011 Venice Biennale. A historic estate overlooking the Salento Sea in Puglia, Italy, the Masseria Torre Coccaro & Masseria Torre Maizza resort has started an art residency program which encourages artists from all parts of the world to produce work influenced by the Mediterranean environment and culture, and interactions with the people and sites of Puglia. Vittorio discusses Masseria's hope to attract audiences to Puglia through both historic and contemporary art and culture, and gives listeners an alluring description of the traditional food and wine served to Secret Courtyard guests.
