Tom Phonic
Tom Phonic has been producing electronic music for over 15 years and has been organizing parties featuring live electronic musicians in clubs and lofts throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan since he moved to NYC in 2005. Previously performing with only drum machines and synthesizers for the love of hardware, he's now updated his setup to include software like Ableton Live. This set is specifically focused on instrumental hip hop with mostly all original music. The exception being that some samples were used but not harmed in the making. Tom Phonic has been fortunate to play and produce shows with his influences and peers such as AC Slater, Machinedrum, Calmer, Mux Mool, and more. At the time of this session in the Clocktower ARTonAIR.org studios he was focusing on an electro/hip-hop EP expected to drop in the late summer of 2011.
Warper Party Radio Extravaganza programs are made possible in part by the Jerome Foundation that seeks to foster a dynamic and evolving culture by supporting the creation, development, and production of new works by emerging artists.
