Todd Miller & Peter Larson, Dinosaur 13

In 1990, paleontologist Peter Larson discovered the largest, most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton in history in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Little did he know that his discovery of the thirteenth t-rex ever would lead to the biggest criminal trial in the state’s history. Director Todd Miller’s documentary, Dinosaur 13, tells the mind-boggling saga of a man’s love for a dinosaur nicknamed Sue and what really happened – in the field, in court, and today.
