The Mast

The Mast is a Brooklyn-based duo (Haale on vocals and guitar and Matt Kilmer on percussion and electronics) that makes songs inspired by futuristic pop, experimental beat music, post-dubstep, and early-IDM. While their 2012 debut album, 'Wild Poppies' featured them playing percussion and electric guitar, they've since morphed into a fully electronic band and have released a series of singles, including 'UpUpUp,' 'Nuclear Dragon,' and 'Emerald'--all of which can be heard on their website and downloaded off Bandcamp. They will be releasing a full-length album of brand new material in the Spring of 2013.
