Susanne Bier, In a Better World
Winner of this year’s Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film with In a Better World, writer/director Susanne Bier rates as one of Denmark’s most accomplished and popular filmmakers. Bier previously scored with international audiences with the devastating Brothers of 2004 (Hollywood’s remake starred Natalie Portman, Tobey Maguire, and Jake Gyllenhaal) and the Oscar-nominated 2006 Best Foreign Language Dogma film, After the Wedding.
