Since the late 1990s, Bossacucanovahas been creating and updating the classic sounds of '50s and '60s Bossa Nova with their unique blend of electronic beats. One of the originators of the Bossa-chillout sound, BCN has released seminal albums on the Ziriguiboom label such as Revisited Classics (1998), Brasilidade (2001) and Uma Batida Diferente (2004), among many. BCN projects have included special guests such as Seu Jorge, Maria Rita, Martinho da Vila, Ed Motta, Cris Delanno, Simoninha, as well as Bossa legends such as Roberto Menescal, Marcos Valle and Orlan DIvo, to name just a few.
