Simon Patterson

Continuing his quest for his YBA roots, host Corwin interviews Simon Patterson, the brother of his former boss Richard Patterson. Simon first entered the American art-consciousness in the Sensation show at The Brooklyn Museum with his iconic print The Great Bear. Simon was also featured in the original Freeze Exhibition, organized by Damien Hirst in 1988. He talks about his 2008 exhibition, Cousteau in the Underworld, at The National Maritime Museum, and La Maision Forestiere (http://www.artconnexion.org/espace-public-public-realm/296-la-maison-forestiere-wilfred-owen-simon-patterson), a monument to the great British war poet Wilfred Owen that Patterson has designed (or re-designed) in Ors, Northern France.
