Sean Fine and Andrea Nix, War Dance

Northern Uganda has witnessed some of the worst tribal slaughters in recent history and War/Dance, a documentary by the husband and wife team of Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine, found an unlikely subject when they went to film a refugee camp: an annual music and dance festival where the displaced children could compete. The Fines speak of what it was like, how their film changed being there and why they wanted this classical composed style as the survivors told their individual horror stories.
