Sam Jury
Michael Rush speaks with British artist Sam Jury, who received her first New York solo exhibition in early 2010, at the time of this recording. Jury's photographs and videos combine offbeat performances with Turner-esque beauty. Her portraits are mysterious and mournful; her renderings of the British countryside are beautiful and menacing. She herself is quick witted and charming.
