The Emmy winning documentarian of last year’s Ethel, a portrait of her mother Ethel Kennedy, is back with the theatrical release of Last Days in Vietnam, an extraordinary never before told account of what happened when the US abandoned Saigon on April 30, 1975. With you are here immediacy and amazing color footage, Kennedy chronicles the heroic individual efforts of American sailors, soldiers, pilots and others to save the Vietnamese whose allegiance to the U.S. made them candidates for execution as the North Vietnamese took control of the city.
