Richard Gere, Time Out of Mind

A passion project for actor and human rights activist Richard Gere, Time Out of Mind tackles the barbed subject of homelessness – contentious because it is a subject rarely linked with “entertainment.” Gere discusses the years he has spent trying to get the film made, and credits writer-director Oren Moverman (The Messenger) with making the actor's idea a compelling big screen reality.
