OM Episode 32: Running in Circles, Bryan Ferry Special

Music with a view, selected and presented by ME Raabenstein. This special features five decades of Bryan Ferry, the most glamourous singer/songwriter and interpreter in rock history... Ferry cultivated his musical abilities while studying art at the University of Newcastle. In 1971, he founded the glam rock pioneering Roxy Music with, among others, composer and synthesizer player Brian Eno, who left in 1973 (the two have reunited several times since then). Ferry was Roxy's front man until its demise in 1983 and continued his solo efforts, marked a cool crooning style. His wives and love affairs, political views, and occasional rants have lead to some extra-musical grumblings from his peers and admirers. Still, he is considered one of the greatest all time lyricists and is one of David Bowie's favorite songwriters.
