Narwhalz (Of Sound), Recorded Live

Immerse yourself in the densely-layered, hysterically imaginative, and slightly unsettling montage universe of Brian Blomerth, also known as Narwhalz (of Sound), in our June 17, 2014 edition of weekly live sessions.

In studio, Brian used a mixer, pedal, and gameboy to produce sounds that are anything but cutesy. Listen for info on his 2014 Looney Tunes-inspired series, an audio enlivenment of uni-dimensional characters (think of a track inspired by Pepé le Pew). The now New York based artist spun equally dense and hysterical tales, from living in music venues across three cities, to searching for a new bearer of the name Narwhalz, to his cartoonist endeavors.
