Michael Winterbottom, The Face of An Angel

Ferociously productive English writer-director Michael Winterbottom has created twenty-five features and documentaries since 1995, including Welcome to Sarajevo, which was nominated for the Palme d'Or, The Road to Guantanamo, A Mighty Heart about Mariane Pearl, and the comedic The Trip.

Winterbottom's 2014 work Face of an Angel, a riff on the notorious Amanda Knox case in which the American college student is accused of murdering her roommate in Italy, brings the director into the studio to reflect on the film.
