Matt Damon & John Krasinski, Promised Land

Written and produced by the film's stars Matt Damon and John Krasinski, Promised Land (directed by Gus Van Sant) deals with the issues of a Pennsylvania farm community faces when a natural gas corporation comes calling to buy up their leases. Both creators emphasize how Land is not so much about fracking as it is about individual responsibility and the long-term choices we are now making for our children.
