London Essentials: March 2011
Back from his two months of diligent, unbiased R&R at the cabana, Phil Stocker provides the low-down on his music picks plus hot outings in the London area. For music, two irresistable tracks from the Kitsune Parisien Compilation, and tunes from British bombshell David's Lyre.
And check the memo. This month's actual good thing to do is:
Secret Cinema. Buy a ticket. Tell no one! (or perhaps some people on a radio show). You don't know what film you'll see, where it is, or why you're asked to dress in costume...until you arrive at the secret location. Joining Stocker this month, Katie Bilboa provides her take on this mystery experience. But, you'll have to sign up for their mailing list to get any real sort of information (they're surprisingly secretive).
