Les Cocottes Band du Transversal
David Weinstein guides us through a performance by Le Transversal, the nomadic restaurant headed by Gilles Stassart, at the 2008 Slick Art Fair. In the performance, called Les Cocottes Band and made in partnership with appliance consortium Groupe SEB, musicians play with, from and around a dozen cooking pots, an idea inspired by Boris Vian’s Pianococktail. The performance brings together the worlds of cooking, music and contemporary art. In English (9 minutes).

RADIO SERIES
In October 2008, the Slick Contemporary Art Fair invited Art Radio to broadcast from its exhibition space in the newly renovated 104 in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. In partnership with the renowned French radio station Radio Nova, our radio team collected interviews on site and around town during the week of FIAC and other art fairs. Included in the programs are a variety of eminent cultural figures such as artist Daniel Buren, Paris Deputy Mayor in Charge of Culture Christophe Girard, author and Sorbonne Professor François Aubral, Dena Foundation president and collector Giuliana Setari, filmmaker Ariane Michel, and fashion designer Adeline André.
