Lavinia Co-op

Will Corwin hosts
Lavinia Co-op, one of the founding members of the British performance troupe Bloolips, regales us with tales of the mid-seventies post-gay-lib scene in London. He also teaches us a few phrases in gay-cockney rhyming slang Palari. His story of growing up gay on London's east end hood of Hackney, travelling the world with his troupe, featuring the likes of Bossy Betty Blue and Diva Dan, and ending up in New York, is interspersed with delightful recitations and excerpts from Bloolips shows, and Lavinia's own one-person show Frock-off.
