Julie Delpy, 2 Days in Paris
Julie Delpy has waited all her life to make her first film, so it's not surprising that she not only wrote, directed and starred in the comedic 2 Days in Paris, but that she also scored, edited and helped produce it. Not to mention casting her actor parents as well as her scene-stealing black cat. The French-born actress who lives in Los Angeles began her career as a teenager. She has worked with Godard, Kieslowski, Leos Carax, Roger Avery and scored international acclaim with Agnieska Holland's Europa, Europa and then Richard Linklater's nifty set of two-handers with Ethan Hawke, Before Sunrise and Before Sunset.
