John Wiese

Before the noise group Sissy Spacek stopped to perform at Issue
Project Room in Brooklyn during their spring 2010 tour, John Wiese was kind enough to speak with host Elliot
Stapleton about his musical travels. Wiese, a long-standing figure on
the noise scene, has managed to keep a near-constant tour schedule
over the years as well as continually releasing plenty of LPs,
CD-Rs, cassettes and more on essentially every other sound recording format under the sun. He has most recently collaborated with such formidable musicians as C Spencer Yeh
and Evan Parker. This ain't your parents' grind-core collagist (18 minutes).
