Jill Magid



Jill Magid is a visual artist working in a variety of media including
literature,
video, sculpture, photography and performance. She lives and works in
both Brooklyn
and Amsterdam. She seeks intimate relations with impersonal
structures. Magid is also
intrigued by hidden information, being public as a condition for existence, and
intimacy in relation to power and observation. She teaches sculpture
at Cooper Union (35 minutes).
