Jarrett Earnest and Leigha Mason, 1:1

Leigha Mason and Jarrett Earnest trek up to the Clocktower to get in deep and dirty about 1:1, their new art space on the Lower East Side. Jarrett and Leigha, along with Alex Sloane and Whitney Vangrin have founded a new artists-run venue on the second floor of 121 Essex street. Their first exhibition, a two-person show of the film and video work of Marie Losier and Leigha Mason runs through April, 2012. The opening coincides conveniently with the premier of Marie Losier's 18mm feature-length The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jay.
