Jaiko Suzuki & Benoit Cougolat Guerroue stop by the Clocktower studio to talk about their current residency at Pioneer Works. Jake Nussbaum chats with J&B about their collaborative process, the genesis of their PW residency, and their goals as a band going forward. Additionally, some tracks are unveiled which were recorded right here in the Pioneer Works studio.

Jaiko Suzuki and Benoit Guerroue started recording songs and playing shows together in the fall of 2015.

Jaiko Suzuki was born in Tokyo and has been a long time New Yorker. In addition to her time playing in Jaiko & Benoit, she is the drummer for experimental band electroputas. Benoit Cougolat Guerroue was born in the forests of Bretagne before migrating to our fair city. He also performs as Zun Alak, Carbonic.
