Jacolby Satterwhite, Reifying Desire

Jacolby Satterwhite discusses his history as an artist and his Reifying Desire video series. Satterwhite uses drawing, 3D, digitization, film, and performance to explore themes of desire, memory, and personal and public myth-making. His work has included elements as wide ranging as renderings of his mother's drawings and scenes filmed with a bare-back porn star. His works have been included in national exhibitions including the 2014 Whitney Biennial and the Sundance Film Festival.
