Groove Armada
Jeannie Hopper speaks to both the taller and the shorter halves of Groove Armada about the place of Northern Star and Tim Love Lee in their earliest collaborations, which began "in a town called Cambridge." They trace the rest of their history together, from the young days of their club night Captain Sensual at the Helm of the Groove Armada to their breakthrough album Vertigo, released by Jive records along the prestigious likes of *NSYNC and Britney Spears, to their 2010 album Black Light, released in the U.S. by San Francisco's Om Records and featuring a band that includes Brian Ferry and Saint Savior. They also talk about the most hedonistic week of their lives, the effects of the changing music industry on their work and lives and the growth of their live stage shown (50 minutes).
