Enjoy a global booty shakin' journey. Fania All Stars' master 2-inch tapes get re-worked by selector Joe Clausell to start our rhythmic journey. Heading down to the Andes via Brooklyn's Barbes Records we learn what a good drink of Chicha can produce musically; manifesting into it's own genre from the slums of Lima incorporating indigenous rhythms and psychedelic surf music. And the influences of afro-beat continue to gather more musical warriors in Estados Unidos from The Funk Ark to Jayl Funk and the always stellar Wonderwheel label with Nickodemus at the helm.

Enjoy the lovely Earthchild Project Nickodemus manifested with Good Times, that features and benefits the children of Sakumlandela Primary School in South Africa. And the never ending global musical artistry continues to flow with tunes from Femi Kuti, Orchestre Poly-Rhythmo, Konono No. 1, and Les Nubians. Closing out the set we're back to the Andes with artist Chancha Via Circuito aka the Pig on the Circular Train with "percussive lava, seething as it is
soothing."
