Gaspard Ulliel, Saint Laurent

A popular star in his native France, Gaspard Ulliel is known in the US primarily as the young Hannibal Lecter in the 2007 Hannibal Rising. Ulliel, as charming in English as in his native tongue, discusses the challenges of playing the iconic Yves Saint Laurent in the 2014 biopic Saint Laurent, including the film’s surprise make-out scene with Louis Garrel and why moviegoers may be more upset with a pet dog’s overdose than an addict’s.
