German director Thorsten Schütte spent eight years on Eat That Question: Frank Zappa In His Own Words, culling over 30 years of interviews and performances to offer a portrait of the late (1940-1993) avant-garde rock musician/composer/satirist and lyricist. Joined by Moon Zappa, the eldest of Frank Zappa's four children, Schütte and Moon reveal humorous details about the life of a man who was foremost and always a driven composer dedicated not to family but to his art.
