Love for dub is universal, and this edition of In the Hopper proves it, featuring artists from Bangkok to Warsaw, Angola to Norway, DC to LA.

You hear Karsh Kale's remix of The Holy Man's Plea by Warren Cucurullo and Ustad Sultan Khan off of the Psychedelic Planet collection; Paradise Bangkok Molam Int'l Band's Pu Tai Dub off their premier album 21st Century Molam fusing local rhythms, funk and soul with dub; Machinedrum reworks Jaga Jazzist's Kitty Wu celebrating their 20th anniversary; Loop Maffia's Moonsoul Dub of Koka Mass Jazz's Smile; From Sounds From the Ground’s best of 20 years collection Eclipse On 5th. Also enjoy dub meets Tango with Kaleidoscope Jukebox's tango dub of Un Amor by Thomas Blondet, followed by dub meets Flamenco from Gaudi's Babylon Flamenco. Second Sky’s Deeper gets the remix treatment by Komodo, while Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra fuses afro beat, Polish folk music with an electronic twist. For the finale, Congo Sanchez brings it with Are You Ready and Angolan Portuguese artist Batida’s party tune Ceu. The set closes out with the impressive Eccodek The Big Man.
