Don Cheadle and Ted Braun, Darfur Now
World-famous, Oscar-nominated actor Don Cheadle discovered a movie can change your life, at least when the film is Hotel Rwanda about the genocide and one man's courage in protecting others. That sparked Cheadle's interest in another, current genocide in the Sudan's Darfur region. Which prompted Cheadle and filmmaker Ted Braun to make their acclaimed documentary Darfur Now.
