On the hottest day of the year DJ Richard Nixon arrived at Bene’s record shop to find a treasure trove of original Brazilian vinyl had just arrived. The summer tropical heat weighing down on Red Hook, the Brazil Olympics, and the selection of fresh stock inspired a samba and bossa-heavy set.
