The Jam is on one end of this latest mix by DB, while the solo work of one-time Jam front-man Paul Weller is on the other; everything in between was recorded at some point between The Jam's first album and Weller's most recent. It should come as little surprise, then, that, whether leaning toward the luminaries' New Wave tendencies--as with Glass Candy, The Stills and the Holy Fuck vs Ki:Theory remix of UNKLE--their post-punk experimentations--as with Mutemath and The Slits--their pop rock glories--as with PANTyRAiD, Broken Bells, Caribou, Trouble Andrew, We Are ENFANT TERRIBLE, Voltage, Wild Beasts and Bang Gang--or just their general sense of musical wanderlust--as with Radiohead, Quest and Matthew Dear--the ghost of the mod revivalists looms as a dancing influence.

This is not a music show that's restricted to a particular genre, or even a specific decade, although it has an emphasis on indie rock with electronic elements or electronic music that's not simply for the dance floor. It's a 90-minute mixtape-style show that is as musically open-minded as the musical landscape is wide.
