DB6
From gold diggers to death professors and spiderweb beds to combustive hearts, DB's sixth BLURRINGradio playlist can't be blamed for a dearth of unseemly, apocalyptic and depressive imagery--but sometimes dour lyrics are just the price you have to pay for catchy tunes. In this particularly electro-heavy mix, DB brings us the likes of Fever Ray, Death from Above 1979, Ian Brown, Fischerspooner and TV On The Radio alongside like-minded up-and-comers Papercuts, White Rabbits, Colder and Woods. Remixes of The Big Pink by Mount Kimbie and Kanye West by Kraddy match up with classics by The Rolling Stones, Primal Scream, The Charlatans and Massive Attack. And, from such variously known and unknown bands as Great Northern, Ramona Falls, Avi Buffalo, Mutated Forms and The Fresh & Onlys, expect musical genres to be ceaselessly deferred to and torn asunder--with their lyrical desperation alone to keep them company.
With deep gratitude to all the great labels supporting these artists: 4AD, Allsorts Recordings, B-Unique, Eenie Meenie Records, FS Studios, Grid Recordings, Interscope, Koch Records, Memphis Industries, Output Recordings, Plastic Spoon Records, Rabid Records, Refiner, Rough Trade, Sub Pop, Souterrain Transmissions, TBD Records, UNI, Vice Records, Virgin and Woodsist Records.

RADIO SERIES
As a kid in London, DB used to fall asleep at night with a transistor radio hidden under his pillow. He has been addicted to hearing new music ever since. Here, he brings that music to you.
This is not a music show that's restricted to a particular genre, or even a specific decade, although it has an emphasis on indie rock with electronic elements or electronic music that's not simply for the dance floor. It's a 90-minute mixtape-style show that is as musically open-minded as the musical landscape is wide.
