DB47: Pop Isn't a Dirty Word
When DB says something is Pop, its not meant with the derogatory connotation that it has in some circles in the U.S. The majority of this mixtape is generally made up of songs that are Pop-ish and, to DB's ears, they either have pop potential, or have actually been big hits in the UK, but its highly unlikely that any would ever make mainstream pop radio in the U.S..
In this edition you will hear tracks by Jungle, an unreleased track by SOS, The The, Kelis, Tom Veck, FKA Twigs, White Town. Elephant Stone, DB and Stakka under the guise of the Ror-Shak and featuring Julie Cruz, Shout Out Louds, Elbow, Heaven 17, Arcade Fire, Todd Terje, Gap Dream, Young Fathers, Redhino, and Blood Orange.

RADIO SERIES
As a kid in London, DB used to fall asleep at night with a transistor radio hidden under his pillow. He has been addicted to hearing new music ever since. Here, he brings that music to you.
This is not a music show that's restricted to a particular genre, or even a specific decade, although it has an emphasis on indie rock with electronic elements or electronic music that's not simply for the dance floor. It's a 90-minute mixtape-style show that is as musically open-minded as the musical landscape is wide.
