DB36: Past & Present, Perfect Guitars
Having had fun compiling & also getting some nice feedback from the first Rock n' Roll show he did last year, DB's been gradually gathering tunes to do this second all guitar based show. The list is interesting in that the 25 tracks bounce between the 60's & 70's to the 2000's, completely skipping over the 80's & 90's. DB says it was unintended but it certainly exposes where his tastes originate. So, enjoy a solid firing 2 hours of both classic, to extremely modern use of the guitar. This is not a music show that's restricted to a particular genre, or even a specific decade, although it has an emphasis on indie rock with electronic elements or electronic music that's not simply for the dance floor. It's a 90-minute mixtape-style show that is as musically open-minded as the musical landscape is wide.
