DB1
Welcome to DB's first radio show ever.
DB's approach to DJing came from the early influence of John Peel. Like Peel, DB doesn't want his listeners to be stuck with music in any one style, or even any one decade. He wants his listeners to feel like they're listening to a mixtape made personally for them. He wants to introduce people to new bands, and reintroduce them to older ones. In this very first episode of BLURRINGradio, he plays tunes by such emerging bands as Hunters, Run!, Kasper Bjørke, WhoMadeWho, Broken Bells and Danton Eeprom, and he throws in such heavy-hitters as David Bowie, Radiohead, The Rolling Stones, Fischerspooner, UNKLE, LCD Soundsystem, Gil Scott-Heron and Primal Scream for good measure. Balancing out these ends of the spectrum are such staples of the current scene as Gorillaz, Fever Ray, !!!, The Whip and The xx.
Thanks to the fine labels behind these songs: Atlantic Recors, Battle Standard, Columbia Records, Creation Records, DFA Records, Fondation Records, FS Studios, Gomma, In Finé, Kitsuné Music, Paradise Records, Parlophone, Plant Music, Rabid Records, RCA Records, Rolling Stone Records, Rough Trade, Southern Fried Records, Surrender All, Touch & Go, Virgin Records, Warner Bros., Warp Records, XL Records and Xurbia Xendless Limited.

RADIO SERIES
As a kid in London, DB used to fall asleep at night with a transistor radio hidden under his pillow. He has been addicted to hearing new music ever since. Here, he brings that music to you.
This is not a music show that's restricted to a particular genre, or even a specific decade, although it has an emphasis on indie rock with electronic elements or electronic music that's not simply for the dance floor. It's a 90-minute mixtape-style show that is as musically open-minded as the musical landscape is wide.
