David Scher

David Scher stops by to talk about his rather unique origins as an artist. How many of us have been tutored from the start by Siah Armajani? Apparently the 11-year-old art prodigy and the outspoken Iranian political dissident artist got along swimmingly. Scher has been keeping notebooks and sketchbooks since he started drawing, and he talks about how having this continually updating and expanding archive of thoughts and ideas has influenced his artistic practice (28 minutes).
