David Gordon Green, Prince Avalanche & Joe

David Gordon Green, versatile filmmaker, commercial director, and independent and Hollywood studio project advisor, introduces his two new, highly personal films. Prince Avalanche, a Sundance entry last winter, teams Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch as 1988 Texas roadworkers in a low-key comedy that won comparisons with Samuel Beckett. Prince's setting was inspired by a fire-ravaged forest and is a remake of a little-seen Icelandic film.

At September 2013’s Toronto International Film Festival Green brings his offbeat Nicolas Cage collaboration, Joe.
