Dakota Fanning, The Last of Robin Hood

In The Last of Robin Hood, Dakota Fanning tackles one of her most controversial real life roles: 15 year old Beverly Aadland who became the last great love of the legendary Hollywood star Errol Flynn, the swashbuckling hero of Robin Hood, Captain Blood and The Charge of the Light Brigade. Fanning's Beverly is pushed into both the movies and Flynn's arms by her mother Florence Aadland (Susan Sarandon), a stage mother who makes Mama Rose in Gypsy seem demure. Oscar winner Kevin Kline plays Flynn in this film from the writing-directing team of Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland (Quinceanera) based on Florence's tell all book, The Big Love. The filmmakers were personal friends of Beverly Aadland who died in 2010 at 67.
