Cut Chemist, Renegades of Rhythm

Jeannie Hopper caught up with Cut Chemist at Irving Plaza for the Renegades of Rhythm show that is touring throughout 2014 with DJ Shadow paying homage to the legendary Afrika Bambaataa. These turntablists dug thru Afrika Bambaataa's 40,000+ record collection (housed in the Cornell University Hip Hop Collection) to create a show paying homage to "Bam" and Hip Hop culture. Cut Chemist and DJ Shadow aim to present Bambaataa's legacy in all it's genre bending and socially-minded complexity.
