Critical Practices Incorporated

Residing somewhere between the Masons and the Suffragettes, Critical Practices Incorporated is part debate society, part exhibition program and part creator and exporter of revolutions. Saul Ostrow (founder and president) and Donald Daedalus (facilitator) join Will Corwin to talk a bit about CPI's goals and programs.

Founded in 2010, CPI coordinates discussions, called La Table Ronde, which feature theorists, critics, artists, scientists and creative practitioners of all disciplines, with he aim to maintain a level of anonymity and thus create a space for open discourse. There is also a publication, LEFt, and a series of exhibitions for underrepresented artists, 21st St Projects, as well as a new book imprint. Critical Practices Incorporated was part of the Whitney 2014 Biennial.
